Investing.com – Taiwanese stocks were higher after Wednesday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the stock market were Meiloon Industrial Co Ltd (TW:), which rose 9.98% or 3.20 points to trade at 35.25 at the close. In the meantime, Daxin Materials Corp (TW:) added 9.98% or 20.50 points to end at 226.00 and Abonmax Co Ltd (TW:) rose 9.97% or 2.85 points to 31.45 in late trading .
The worst performers of the session were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which fell 9.95% or 0.21 points to trade at 1.90 at the close. Lead data Inc (TW:) fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to end at 3.57 and Realtek Semiconductor Corp (TW:) fell 7.51% or 38.00 points to 468.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks 0 to 0 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.

Shares in Arima Communications Corp (TW:) fell to an all-time low; decreasing by 9.95% or 0.21 to 1.90. Shares in Daxin Materials Corp (TW:) rose to record highs; rising by 9.98% or 20.50 to 226.00.
Crude oil for November fell 0.59%, or 0.41, to $69.55 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 0.60% or 0.44 to $73.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.50 to be traded at $2,594.90 per troy ounce.
USD/TWD rose 0.02% to 31.95, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.00% to 0.22.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.06% to 100.50.
