Investing.com – Taiwanese stocks were higher after Tuesday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed stocks higher.
At the close in Taiwan, the index added 0.32% and reached a new one-month high.
The best performers of the session on the stock market were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. In the meantime, Chia Ta World Co Ltd (TW:) added 9.98% or 2.00 points to end at 22.05 and CyberTAN Technology Inc (TW:) rose 9.97% or 3.10 points to 34.20 in late trading .
The worst performers of the session were Zippy Technology Corp (TW:), which fell 9.90% or 7.80 points to close at 71.00. Lead data Inc (TW:) fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to end at 3.57 and HannStar Board Corp (TW:) fell 9.22% or 5.27 points to 51.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
Shares in Arima Communications Corp (TW:) rose to a three-year high; increasing by 350.24% or 7.39 to 9.50.
Crude oil for November fell 3.68%, or 2.72, to $71.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for December delivery fell 3.67% or 2.84 to $74.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.21% or 5.60 to $2,660. 00 per troy ounce.
USD/TWD rose 0.05% to 32.20, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.41% to 0.22.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.05% to 103.13.
