Investing.com – Taiwanese stocks were lower after Friday’s close as losses in the , and sectors dragged shares lower.
At the close in Taiwan, the index lost 0.63%, hitting a new one-month low.
The best performers of the session on the stock market were Arima Communications Corp (TW:), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. In the meantime, Taisol Electronics Co Ltd (TW 🙂 added 9.94% or 6.30 points to end at 69.70 and Hold key Electric Wire & Cable Co Ltd (TW:) rose 9.92% or 4.45 points to 49.30 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Edom Technology Co Ltd (TW:), which fell 9.92% or 3.60 points to close at 32.70. Lead data Inc (TW:) fell 9.85% or 0.39 points to end at 3.57 and Loga Technology Corp (TW:) fell 9.16% or 1.20 points to 11.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks 0 to 0 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
Shares in Arima Communications Corp (TW:) rose to a three-year high; gain from 350.24% or 7.39 to 9.50.
Crude oil for December fell 1.06%, or 0.73, to $67.97 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for January delivery fell 1.07% or 0.78 to $71.78 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 7.60 to $2,565. 30 per troy ounce.
USD/TWD fell 0.23% to 32.53, while TWD/CNY was unchanged 0.27% to 0.22.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.13% to 106.74.
