Investing.com – Swedish shares were higher after Thursday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed stocks higher.
At the close in Stockholm, shares gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session at the were Getinge AB ser. B (ST:), which rose 2.06% or 3.50 points to trade at 171.30 at the close. In the meantime, Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:) added 1.79% or 2.00 points to end at 113.80 and AB SKF B (ST:) rose 1.61% or 3.30 points to 208.30 in late trading .
The worst performers of the session were Alfa Laval AB (ST:), which fell 1.31% or 6.20 points to trade at 465.80 at the close. Evolution AB (ST:) fell 1.20% or 11.80 points to end at 975.00 and SAAB AB ser. B (ST:) fell 0.92% or 2.20 points to 236.60.
Rising shares outpaced falling shares on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 437 to 311 and 90 ended unchanged.
January crude oil deliveries rose 0.20%, or 0.14, to $68.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for February delivery rose 0.24% or 0.17 to $72.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.91 to $2,665. 71 per troy ounce.
EUR/SEK rose 0.06% to 11.53, while USD/SEK rose 0.17% to 10.93.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.10% to 106.15.
