Investing.com – Portuguese shares were lower after Friday’s close as losses in the , and sectors dragged shares lower.

In the meantime, Semapa (ELI:) added 1.20% or 0.18 points to end at 15.20 and Ibersol SGPS (ELI:) rose 0.27% or 0.02 points to 7.30 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:), which fell 3.48% or 0.13 points to close at 3.72. EDP Renovaveis (ELI:) fell 1.98% or 0.29 points to end at 14.38 and The Navigator Company SA (ELI:) fell 1.82% or 0.07 points to 3.67.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 14 to 13, with 7 ending unchanged.
Brent crude for August fell 0.39%, or 0.31, to $79.56 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude for July delivery fell 0.19% or 0.14 to $75.41 per barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.81% or 67.20 to $2,323.70 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD fell 0.73% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.24% to 0.85.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.74% to 104.83.
