Investing.com – Polish shares were higher after Tuesday’s close as gains in the , and sectors sent shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the price rose 0.17%.
The best artists of the session on the were Dino Polska SA (WA:), which rose 3.55% or 11.30 points to trade at 330.00 at the close. In the meantime, X Commercial brokers Dom Maklerski SA (WA:) added 2.74% or 1.80 points to end at 67.48 and Stool SA (WA:) rose 2.45% or 10.40 points to 435.40 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Pepco Group Nv (WA:), which fell 2.64% or 0.49 points to trade at 17.86 at the close. mBank SA (WA:) fell 1.84% or 11.60 points to end at 619.80 and PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna SA (WA:) fell 1.30% or 0.09 points to 6.84.
The number of falling shares outnumbered rising shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 266 to 234 and 107 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October fell 1.73%, or 1.34, to $76.08 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for November delivery fell 1.58%, or 1.27, to $79.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.19%, or 4.85, to $2,550. 35 per troy ounce.
EUR/PLN rose 0.19% to 4.29, while USD/PLN rose 0.19% to 3.84.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.08% to 100.66.
