Investing.com – Polish shares were higher after Wednesday’s close as gains in the , and sectors sent shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the price gained 1.60%.
The best artists of the session on the were Stool SA (WA:), which rose 4.87% or 21.20 points to trade at 456.40 at the close. In the meantime, Aliorbank SA (WA:) added 4.63% or 4.18 points to end at 94.50 and Bank Polska Kasa Opieki SA (WA:) rose 3.64% or 5.60 points to 159.45 in the late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Enea SA (WA:), which fell 1.61% or 0.16 points to trade at 9.78 at the close. Grupa Azoty SA (WA:) fell 1.26% or 0.28 points to end at 21.94 and CCC SA (WA:) fell 0.37% or 0.50 points to 134.00.
Rising shares outnumbered falling shares on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 247 to 240 and 103 ended unchanged.
July crude oil deliveries rose 0.28%, or 0.22, to $78.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for August delivery rose 0.37% or 0.30 to $82.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.18% or 27.35 to $2,353.95 per troy ounce.
EUR/PLN fell 0.23% to 4.33, while USD/PLN fell 1.19% to 3.99.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 1.23% to 103.90.
