Investing.com – Norwegian shares were higher after Tuesday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the price rose by 0.75%.
The best artists of the session on the were Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:), which rose 3.10% or 32.00 points to trade at 1,064.00 at the close. In the meantime, Var Energy ASA (OL:) added 3.06% or 1.00 points to end at 33.70 and Aker BP ASA (OL:) rose 2.70% or 6.10 points to 232.30 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Nordic semiconductor ASA (OL:), which fell 6.33% or 6.75 points to trade at 99.90 at the close. Nel ASA (OL:) fell 6.01% or 0.30 points to end at 4.69 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) fell 2.97% or 0.39 points to 12.58.
The number of falling shares outnumbered rising shares on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 143 to 143 and 23 ended unchanged.
November crude oil deliveries rose 3.33%, or 2.27, to $70.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for December delivery rose 3.15%, or 2.26, to $73.96 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.80%, or 21.20, to $2,680. 60 per troy ounce.
EUR/NOK fell 0.13% to 11.73, while USD/NOK rose 0.47% to 10.59.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.39% to 100.92.
