Investing.com – Stocks in Morocco were lower after Tuesday’s close as losses in the , and sectors dragged shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca they lost 1.19%.
The best performers of the session on the were Realis. Mecaniques (CSE:), which rose 3.09% or 14.30 points to trade at 477.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenie Brossette (CSE:) added 2.80% or 3.00 points to end at 110.00 and Hps (CSE:) rose 2.55% or 13.90 points to 560.00 in late trading .
The worst performers of the session were Ste de Travaux de Realization d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:), which fell 6.23% or 3.79 points to trade at 57.00 at the close. Disty Technologies SA (CSE:) fell 6.12% or 15.00 points to end at 230.00 and Cartier Saada (CSE:) fell 5.41% or 2.00 points to 35.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 38 to 15.
November crude oil deliveries rose 4.03%, or 2.75, to $70.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for December delivery rose 3.79% or 2.72 to $74.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.86% or 22.75 to $2,682. 15 per troy ounce.
EUR/MAD fell 0.32% to 10.82, while USD/MAD rose 0.63% to 9.75.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.45% to 100.97.
