Investing.com – Italian stocks were higher after Thursday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed shares higher.
At the close in Milan, shares gained 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the stock market were Iveco Group NV (BIT:), which rose 3.78% or 0.43 points to close at 11.66. In the meantime, FinecoBank Banca Fineco SpA (BIT:) added 3.12% or 0.45 points to end at 14.86 and Bper Banca SpA (BIT:) rose 2.71% or 0.13 points to 4.89 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were ERG (BIT:), which fell 1.84% or 0.48 points to trade at 25.62 at the close. Nexi SpA (BIT 🙂 fell 1.68% or 0.11 points to end at 6.20 and Poste Italiane SpA (BIT:) fell by 1.27% or 0.17 points to 12.79.
On the Milan Stock Exchange, rising shares outnumbered falling shares by 261 to 222, with 44 ending unchanged.
July crude oil deliveries rose 2.04%, or 1.51, to $75.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for August delivery rose 1.87% or 1.47 to $79.88 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 16.55 to $2,392.05 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.20% to 0.85.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.01% to 104.21.
