Investing.com – Finnish stocks were lower after Tuesday’s close as losses in the , and sectors dragged shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki they lost 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the were Neste Oyj (HE:), which rose 3.33% or 0.67 points to trade at 20.79 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:) added 0.55% or 0.02 points to end at 3.76 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) rose 0.52% or 0.06 points to 10.61 in the late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 2.19% or 0.21 points to trade at 9.40 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:) fell 2.09% or 0.99 points to end at 46.18, while UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:) fell 1.65% or 0.51 points to 30.39.
The number of falling shares outnumbered rising shares on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 106 to 63 and 19 ended unchanged.
Brent crude for November fell 1.73%, or 1.39, to $78.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for October delivery fell 1.98% or 1.53 to $75.89 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 8.00 to $2,547.20 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.35% to 0.84.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.08% to 100.66.
