Investing.com – Dutch stocks were higher after Wednesday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the price rose by 1.14% and reached a new all-time high.
The best artists of the session on the were Adyen NV (AS:), which rose 3.94% or 47.20 points to close at 1,245.60. Meanwhile, ASML Holding NV (AS:) added 2.75% or 26.40 points to end at 985.60 and Prosus (AS:) rose 2.17% or 0.74 points to 34.56 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV (AS:), which fell 1.17% or 0.33 points to close at 27.88. ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) fell 0.66% or 0.15 points to end at 22.52 and Koninklijke KPN NV (AS:) fell 0.58% or 0.02 points to 3.44.
Rising shares outnumbered falling shares on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 70 to 28 and 8 ended unchanged.
ASML Holding NV (AS:) shares rose to record highs; increase of 2.75% or 26.40 to 985.60.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, remained unchanged at 0.00% at 21.09.
July crude oil deliveries rose 0.55%, or 0.43, to $78.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for August delivery rose 0.56% or 0.46 to $82.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.03% or 23.90 to $2,350.50 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD rose 1.00% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.17% to 0.84.
US Dollar Index Futures fell 1.24% to 103.89.
