Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after Thursday’s close as gains in the , and sectors pushed shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the price rose by 0.62%.
The best artists of the session on the were Vesta Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.00% or 4.20 points to trade at 107.90 at the close. In the meantime, Rockwool International B (CSE:) added 2.52% or 66.00 points to end at 2,688.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE:) rose 2.45% or 280.00 points to 11,725.00 in the late trade.
The session’s worst performers were Coloplast A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.74% or 15.80 points to trade at 891.80 at the close. Novozymes A/SB (CSE:) fell 1.09% or 4.50 points to end at 409.90 and Carlsberg A/SB (CSE:) fell 0.95% or 7.00 points to 729.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered falling stocks on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 70 to 59, with 19 ending unchanged.
Crude oil for January fell 0.12%, or 0.08, to $68.64 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for February delivery fell 0.06% or 0.04 to $72.26 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.02% or 0.59 to be traded at $2,665.39 per troy ounce.
USD/DKK rose 0.16% to 7.07, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.12% to 106.18.
