Investing.com – Finnish stocks were lower after Friday’s close as losses in the , and sectors dragged shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki they lost 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the were Neste Oyj (HE:), which rose 0.74% or 0.14 points to trade at 18.97 at the close. In the meantime, Mandatum Oyj (HE:) added 0.67% or 0.03 points to end at 4.20 and Metso Oyj (HE:) rose 0.51% or 0.06 points to 10.88 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 3.10% or 0.31 points to trade at 9.52 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) fell 1.95% or 0.07 points to end at 3.63 and Valmet Oyj (HE:) fell 1.70% or 0.41 points to 23.67.
The number of falling stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 72, with 19 ending unchanged.
Brent crude for August fell 0.39%, or 0.31, to $79.56 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude for July delivery fell 0.19% or 0.14 to $75.41 per barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.84% or 67.90 to $2,323.00 per troy ounce.
EUR/USD fell 0.75% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.24% to 0.85.
US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.75% to 104.84.
